Challenges We Address

Time Wastage

Prior to TACHWASCO, women and school children spent hours trekking to fetch water from polluted rivers, time that could be dedicated to income-generating activities.

Health Risks

Water from rivers was contaminated with coliforms and chemicals from farming activities, leading to waterborne diseases and increased medical expenses.

Education Impact

Reduced concentration and increased absenteeism among school children resulted in poor academic performance and low grades.

Our Transformative Impact

TACHWASCO has revolutionized water access in our service areas. The centralized pipe network at homesteads has enabled communities to venture into improved farming including poultry and dairy farming, which are more profitable enterprises.
