Tachasis Water and Sanitation Company was incorporated as a private company in its Articles of Associations as provided for in the Company Act in accordance with provision for water act 2016. TAWASCO was licensed by the Regulator to provide water and sanitation services at areas of Tindiret sub-county of Nandi. It covers the following locations Kamelil, Kapsoen, Ng’atipkong, Meteitei, Kaplamaiywo, Tachasis Ainapngetuny, Kipyaor, Chepkemel, Kabolebo and Kabirer. TAWASCO operations are monitored under the service provision Agreement with Lake Victoria South Water Services Board (LVSWSB). The articles of association give TACHWASCO powers to borrow and provide debentures as security. The company is limited by shares and the articles of association allow the directors to borrow up to two times the issued and paid up capital and reserves of the company.
